A portion of Bakery Hill includes the eastern end of the CBD with popular restaurants and fast food outlets along with various accommodation and hotel businesses. Bakery Hill is a pretty suburb to walk or ride around, with undulation for distant views. The city end of Victoria Street (the main entrance to Ballarat) is incorporated in Bakery Hill which is beautifully lined with flowers and shrubs creating a colourful Begonia impact to the entrance to the city. Bakery Hill is one of the most historic places in Ballarat.
