Gordon is a rural township 25 km east of Ballarat and 93 km north-west of Melbourne. Once on the Western Highway, it is now a few kilometres south of the Western Freeway. Gordon is situated on the undulating foothills of the Paddock Creek valley, which contains a reservoir and a public park which have several walking and jogging paths to explore.
